Fringe bed skirt – A bed skirt is functional and decorative. Pretty embellishments or patterns make a bed more attractive while hiding the improvised storage space beneath. However, the fabric tends to move, especially when placing the mattress on the mattress, and that can ruin the overall effect. Fortunately, there are methods you can use to keep a bed skirt in place. These methods involve the use of cheap inputs that you already have at home. Remove the mattress from the spring box and the bed frame. You may need someone to help you.
Fringe bed skirt, measure the length and width of the spring box. Cut two strips of hook and loop tapes that are equal to the length of the bed and two strips that are equal to the width. For example, if the bed is 8 feet by 5 feet, you will need two strips that are 8 feet long and two that are 5 feet long. Separate one of the hook and loop strips. Apply the fabric adhesive on the back of one half of the strip and press along an upper edge of the spring box. Repeat the process for one half of the remaining strips. Let the cement dry.
Drape the bed skirt on the box spring and determine where it can come in contact with the strips on the box spring. Turn the remaining strips to the appropriate areas on the back of the bed skirt. Remove the skirt to iron the strips on the fabric. Place the fringe bed skirt of the bed on the mattress and attach the corresponding strips. Use bed skirt bolts if you prefer a faster solution. Place the skirt of the bed on the spring of the box and make sure it is arranged as you wish. Push the tip of a pin of the bed skirt through the fabric into a corner of the bed and the corner of the spring box. Repeat this process in the other corners. Place at least two additional pins on each side of the spring box for added safety. Replace the mattress.
